Introduction

Last week I began my long journey down a road that will forever change my life. That is into the world of CSS and HTML. Right now without even realising it i am writing with div tags and href's. it began with the idea that this could be easy.....



“I hate css” (Me, yesterday)


CSS Problems

Yes It was easy to a point. Then it started to fall apart! Why Internet explorer has to be so fussy is beyond me. Firefox is brilliant. Preview button and hey presto it turns out how it suppose to. Not so with IE (bane of my life)

But then I got it to work

YES IT WORKS!!!! and a new website to the millions even billions of billions of other websites that are out there. It turned out quite well psd partners and then the hosting was linked to the domain and long story shot it was a load lifted off my shoulders



In other news...

I was in the airport playing today. Had great crack. I also found a site that might teach me inDesign so i'm looking forward to that. it also has some cool dreamweaver stuff too!! Hope to also get a new lens money permitting.



And thats the end of that chapter!

Harry Potter

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince was amazing. Has to be said. It was great. The music was also brill. Really emotive music that once you've seen the music and create a true emotional connection between you and the onscreen action. And in the wake of seeing the movie my interest in Harry Potter has been awoken. I've had my head stuck in the Harry Potter Wiki all day. It's really quite good and provides a lot of detail. [link]

In other news: the Bray Airshow is on tomorrow so if you live near Bray, Contae Chill Mhantain, you should drop by!

Hurray for various things!

Hurray for happy days! Yes, fun things that also involve good results, 2.1 btw :D, over the moon about that. The good weather has to be celebrated and sure why not? although it has just started to rain.

Hurray for Chuck! Yes, this is a great programme. Watched it on 3e and got to say I got hooked now waiting for October to buy the second season! If you haven’t seen it yet then you have to go and watch it! Go! Do it now!

Hurray for Florence and the Machine! Yes again another paragraph beginning with “Hurray” but this one is well deserve!

Ever since the O2 Blueroom advert that had her song “Cosmic Love” I’ve been waiting with bated breath for the release and now am addicted in a good way! For samples see here: [link]

Hurray for Call of Duty! Yes as it has been released they have added the “Call of Duty” back into the title of the new instalment of the game due in November 2009.

As you can see from the box art that is hopefully above.

Hurray for subscriptions! Yes, it has been a long time so decided to splash out and get it. it is quite good value really.

Hurray for competitions that involve Photography! Yes, new competition here in Bray about the Killruddery Gardens. and with over 5000eur worth of prizes who knows!!

Hurray for other things that I can’t think of!!

Woo Time how time can fly past

Yes It is hard to believe but here we are three years later and college is almost over. Wow.... the time just flew past in a flash. I must say that i enjoyed every moment and that I made loads of friends. Now the difficult task of looking for a job begins......

In other news I got Adobe CS4 and it is amazing!! Still trying to figure it all out. Dreamweaver it cool. I'd love to know how to use InDesign and Fireworks but i'm working on that. Have to master Dreamweaver first though got a website to make. Then it is on to InDesign to make the programmes for next years concert in the concert hall. which reminds me....

The concert see left for the poster was a sell out!! I was so happy to see so many people there. I plan to out up the programme here soon hopefully if it is not too big!!

Any way I'm off now

Won't be long now until Christmas. Just though I'd share that with you. In the mean time there is of course exams in between.

Not much news really. Busy with college and work. Aww all the work!!! I hope to have the Programme for the concert on Tuesday week up soon, or as soon as I have it done.
