Funny things are happening. I applied for teaching college and didn't get in and it has left me with time to think and look at things that I have never before considered. Paths less travelled. I don't suppose the downturn has helped my chances. Then a few other design related jobs have come along and people say: "why not look at that as a possibility?" But teaching is what i want to do so I will wait and try, try again. With extra time you are left to wonder what are other people are doing now. I try to occupy myself with various things. I've written them down here so you can pester me into doing some of them.



This has really taken off of late with the completion of various major projects that I have to say I am quite pleased with.  

I have started to use InDesign and it has made it so much easier! I was using Photoshop last year to produce a programme and ended up with about 20x10 layers with one group for each page. Now one big easy document although the colouring is a bit off.  But there are still things to do. Concepts to draw up. Ideas on things to draw welcome....



I would like to get back to taking more photographs. So to start that I'm going to take my camera most places I go. Hopefully I will get some good shots and if you are lucky I shall post some here.... Anybody with any creative ideas or inspirational tips they are very welcome!




As you may or may not know I studied music in college. I want to get better and the only way is through practice.  I also want to start to write some music. Ideas in my head mainly. I think them up while I'm walking but by the time I get home they are all gone...




A while back I created a website and had various problems along the way. Yesterday I completed another one and as they say it was much easier the second time around.  

Now moving on to my third, currently in the design phase, I have a greater understanding on what to do and what not to do.  It is still a work in progress and also technically I haven't been asked to do it yet but helps to be prepared.  


I wish I was back in college....
